In conjunction with this, the Archives, the National Library and Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi are preparing to celebrate at the end of this academic year 2022 the graduation of the first batch of students with a Bachelor’s degree in Document Management and Archives Sciences who are qualified to work on preserving the nation’s memory with merit. As this step is a major achievement in terms of enriching the archives with scientific and academic skills capable of preserving the archives and the historical documents and records in the UAE.
The importance of studying a bachelor’s degree in document management and archive sciences comes from being a qualification for the archival profession, which falls within the framework of knowledge management as an important source of information that is growing and renewing rapidly in the United Arab Emirates.
